End User Licence Agreement

1. Agreement to Terms

This End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and SetApart Ministries (“Company”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Sleep Bible application (“App”), including all associated content, features, and services, whether accessed via web browser, iOS, or Android.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Licence Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to the terms of this EULA. This licence does not include the right to:

• Modify, reverse-engineer, or decompile the App
• Copy, redistribute, or sublicence the App or its content to third parties
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without written permission
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from the App
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App or its content

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 App Software

The App software, user interface, design, and code are the property of SetApart Ministries and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

3.2 Scripture Text

Sleep Bible uses the World English Bible (WEB) translation, which is in the public domain. The WEB text itself is not subject to copyright restrictions.

3.3 Audio Recordings

All audio narrations, ambient sound designs, music, and sound effects are original works created by or licensed to SetApart Ministries and are protected by copyright. You may not record, download (except through the App's offline feature for personal use), redistribute, or use these recordings outside the App.

3.4 Visual Content

Verse illustrations, book artwork, app screenshots, and all visual assets are the property of SetApart Ministries or used under licence.

4. Third-Party Components

The App incorporates third-party open-source software components, each governed by their respective licences. Key third-party services include:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, analytics
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Paddle — web payment processing
• BunnyCDN — content delivery
• Sentry — error monitoring

5. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SETAPART MINISTRIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

7. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. We may terminate your licence at any time if you breach any term of this agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies. Sections 3, 5, 6, and 8 survive termination.

8. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this EULA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

9. Changes to This EULA

We reserve the right to modify this EULA at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
