1. Introduction
SetApart Ministries (“we”, “us”, “our”), a South African company, operates the Sleep Bible application and website (collectively, the “Service”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) of South Africa and other applicable data protection laws.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. By using Sleep Bible, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create a Sleep Bible account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in via a third-party provider (Google, Apple), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat. We receive subscription status, plan type, and expiration dates. We do not store your credit card number or direct payment details — these are processed securely by Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Paddle.
2.4 Analytics & Error Tracking
We use Firebase Analytics to understand usage patterns and Sentry for error tracking and performance monitoring. These services may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and crash data.

- Analyse usage trends to improve our content and features
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Storage & Security
4.1 Firebase (Google Cloud)
Your account data, preferences, and listening history are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore). Firebase servers are located in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
4.2 Content Delivery
Audio and image content is delivered via BunnyCDN, a global content delivery network, to ensure fast and reliable playback. CDN logs may temporarily record IP addresses for security and performance purposes.
4.3 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure authentication via Firebase Auth, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Third-Party Services
Sleep Bible integrates with the following third-party services:
